KSDPC Launches Seven New Products to Boost Real Estate Investment and Revenue

As part of the ongoing restructuring of the Company to optimize performance, the Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC) recently introduced a range of new products designed to expand investment opportunities within the real estate sector and strengthen revenue generation for Kaduna State.

The initiatives developed as part of the company’s broader strategy to enhance private sector participation and modernise property services focused on improving investment access, digital service delivery, and the revitalisation of underutilised properties across the state.

Among the products introduced were KSDPC Invest, KSDPC Tech, and KSDPC Renovate, KSDPC Connect, KSDPC Revive, KSDPC Leasing and KSDPC Listing, each created to address specific needs within the property market.

KSDPC Invest was designed to promote joint venture partnerships between the company and investors, including individuals, landowners, and organisations. Through this arrangement, stakeholders with capital or land assets were given the opportunity to collaborate with the company in developing real estate projects. The model was intended to create profitable investment opportunities while expanding the housing and property infrastructure within the state.

KSDPC Tech represented the company’s move toward digital transformation in property management and service delivery. The platform aimed to make KSDPC services more accessible by allowing clients to conduct transactions and access services online, thereby reducing the need for physical visits and improving operational efficiency.

Another key initiative, KSDPC Renovate, focused on identifying and rehabilitating abandoned or poorly maintained buildings. Under this programme, property owners could partner with the company to renovate such structures and return them to productive use. Once refurbished, the properties could be leased or managed in ways that generate income for both the owners and the company.

Beyond renovation, the programme also sought to support landlords who faced challenges managing their properties. Through the initiative, the company could assist in assessing building conditions, carrying out repairs, and securing reliable tenants to ensure sustainable property use.

Overall, the introduction of these products aligns with the housing agenda of His Excellency Governor Uba Sani’s which seeks to close Kaduna State’s housing gap, promote affordable home ownership, and improve living standards through mass housing projects, strategic partnerships, and social housing programs and will also strengthen the company’s role in the real estate sector while creating new opportunities for investors and property owners.

By encouraging partnerships, embracing digital solutions, and revitalising idle properties, the initiatives were expected to contribute to increased housing development, improved property management, and broader economic benefits for residents of Kaduna and the wider state.
