KSDPC signs MoU to host Kaduna Housing Exhibition
On February 19, 2024, Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Kaduna State Development and Property Company [KSDPC] signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr Ola Rotimi-Shodimu, the Managing Director Kaduna Housing Exhibition Limited [KHEL] to host the maiden edition of the Housing exhibition in Kaduna state.
This was preceded by a presentation by Mr Ola Rotimi-Shodimu wherein he intimated the meeting on his experience in hosting Housing Exhibitions and his work in sustainable housing endeavors.
The MD/CEO, KSDPC intends to establish the KSDPC as a one stop shop for all things real estate and property development in Kaduna state and Northern Nigeria.
Olaide Giwa, General Manager, Business Development of the KSDPC noted that the KSDPC, the Kaduna State Government and Kaduna state at large are ready to host visitors from within and outside Nigeria at the maiden edition of the Housing Exhibition.
It would stand as a milestone in the partnership with Private investors to address the housing deficit in the state. She added that Kaduna State is using this event as a platform to engage with stakeholders to partner in “building sustainable habitats” for future generations.
She added that the state wants to undertake an exhibition to be able to attract foreign investors and local investors into the Kaduna housing sector.
